Small Groups and Scraps

My favorite day is always Small Group day!  Joyce has found the perfect border for her Sylvia Bridal Sampler.  My picture does not show the neat green flange that comes before the border.

Carol also stepped out of her comfort zone and took a modern quilt class.  What’s more, she finished it!

Helen brought two quilts for Show-N-Tell.  She did the quilting on one with her new long arm.

There was so much Show-N-Tell, that I hardly had time for a lesson!  Above are the scraps from a recently finished quilt.   What do you do with yours?

When I am being good, they all get pressed and cut into desired shapes.

I have storage containers for various sized squares and strips.  It makes the waste seem less.

IMG_6110Of course it takes about a half hour to do it, so some might think that is the real waste!
